working as many nights as i do. i find that it's not worth waking up in the daytime anymore. so i use the silence of night to study and crochet. i must get back to my drawing and writing but my studying is so important at this point that i find myself on facebook so i don't screw it up. but i will get back to my drawing using the tutor's lessons to improve my still life work. when my scanner gets mended i'll have to publish them here. stay tuned.

midnight musings

ok so it's not technically midnight yet but it will be by the time i'm finished here. i was considering going for a run by the lake tomorrow morning before it gets hot but then i remembered that they're extending the retirement village to the lakeside and my beautiful forest will be gone. they've already bulldozed the path flat so there are no more hills to climb anymore and now the birdsong wil be silenced by the machines again. sometimes i wonder why the birds come back at all. i almost ran over a snake the other day down there on foot mind you. before the bulldozers flattened it. i was at the top of a hill around the corner where the scrub
